Our venue includes a covered, four-season outdoor patio with stunning views of downtown Raleigh, connected to a historic indoor lounge featuring a full bar, AV system, sound, and all the essential furniture you need. It’s a flexible space ready for any occasion—no hidden fees, no required vendors, just your event, your way.

What is included in a rental?

Your rental includes access to both our historic indoor lounge and covered, four-season rooftop terrace. We provide:

  • All chairs, tables, and essential lounge furniture

  • Bar staff (for bar-service events)

  • Full indoor sound system and AV access

  • Microphones

  • Setup assistance (first 2 hours)

  • Restrooms and cleaning service

  • Bring-your-own food and vendors (non alcohol)

What’s the guest capacity?

  • Up to 120 seated guests

  • Up to 200 standing (cocktail-style)

We recommend events with 50 or more guests to meet our bar minimums and make full use of the space.

Is there a venue fee?

Nope. We operate on a bar minimum pricing model.

Everything you spend on bar packages, à la carte drinks, and upgrades counts toward your minimum. Gratuity (18%) is added to hosted bar tabs or packages. You can rent space without a bar tab though. See below:

Can I rent the space without bar service?

Yes—only for Daytime Slots (9:30 AM – 2:30 PM).

Evening and Full Day rentals require bar service.

Do you have a kitchen?

No kitchen or prep space is available. Food must arrive ready to serve. We’re happy to share a list of local caterers, delivery services, and bartenders (though you are welcome to use your own).

What are your vendor policies?

You may bring any vendors you choose.

We do not require specific caterers, planners, or DJs. However:

  • Vendors must stick to setup and teardown times

  • No smoking, open flames, or unapproved decor that could damage the venue

Where do I load in and out?

Loading and unloading takes place directly in front of the building on S. Wilmington Street. There are designated shared loading spots and pull-up options in front of the building entrance. Someone must stay with the vehicle at all times.

We provide:

  • Carts to assist with load-in

  • A venue coordinator during your setup window (first 2 hours)

Please bring enough help—our team is there to guide, not to carry.

How do guests enter?

Guests should use the right-side door marked “Terrace”, not the synagogue entrance. The venue is located on the second floor of a historic building. There is no elevator, but we do have a motorized chair lift from the front entrance to the second floor for guests with accessibility needs.

Is there wheelchair or mobility access?

Yes. Guests with limited mobility may use the chair lift at the front entrance to reach the second floor.

There are a few small steps between the indoor space and terrace patio. While there is no lift for that step, most guests find it manageable. Please notify us in advance if any accommodations are needed.

What’s the parking situation?

Guests have several options:

  • Moore Square Parking DeckDirectly next door and connected to the building

  • Street parkingFree after 6:00 PM Monday–Friday, and free all weekend

    (Note: street spots fill quickly; plan for deck parking)

  • Loading zone in front of the building – for vendors, setup crews, or guests with mobility needs
